| Professor Jatowt is a leading researcher in information retrieval, natural language processing, and digital libraries. He has made recognised innovative contributions in fields such as temporal information retrieval, timeline summarization, keyword extraction, and temporal question answering. In his approaches, he has developed effective ways to access and utilize cultural heritage resources and explore temporal document collections for novel types of longitudinal knowledge. In Germany, he focuses on scholarly paper recommender systems and on approaches to detecting and removing bias in the scholarly document recommendation |
